Our company is responsible for personal data that is used collectively. The address and name of the chief representative of our company are as stated at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.


5.Measures to Ensure the Secure Management of Retained Personal Data

Our company takes necessary and appropriate measures to manage the personal data in its possession, in order to prevent its leakage, loss or damage, etc. In addition, we supervise our employees and contractors (including subcontractors) who handle the personal data held by our company in a manner that is necessary and appropriate. Measures for the secure management of personal data held by our company mainly comprise the following:

Formulation of Group Policy for the Protection of Personal InformationIn order to ensure the proper handling of personal data, we have formulated the Group Policy for the Protection of Personal Information to clearly specify compliance with relevant laws, ordinances and guidelines, as well as contact points for handling questions and complaints.

Establishment of Rules Regarding the Handling of Personal DataWe have established Group Regulations for the Protection of Personal Information, which apply to handling methods, responsible persons / persons in charge and their duties at every stage, whether acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, disposal, etc.

Measures to Ensure Secure Management at the Organizational LevelWe have established a system that provides for the appointment of a personal information protection manager, the appropriate management of personal data, the explicit identification of the scope of employees who handle personal data and the scope of the personal data they handle, and the notification to the personal information protection manager when facts or indications pointing to violations of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or the Group Regulations for the Protection of Personal Information come to light.

Measures to Ensure Secure Management at the Personnel LevelWe carry out educational activities and training to inform employees about the protection of personal data and how to manage it properly, strictly ensure proper handling of personal data in their daily work, and stipulate matters related to the confidentiality of personal data in the Group Regulations for the Protection of Personal Information.

Measures to Ensure Secure Management at the Physical LevelWe take measures to prevent unauthorized persons from viewing personal data, devise measures to prevent the theft or loss of devices, electronic media, documents, etc. that handle personal data, and take measures to prevent personal data from being readily revealed when transporting such devices, electronic media and the like, including when moving them within the office.

Measures to Ensure Secure Management at the Technical LevelWe have imposed access controls to limit the scope of persons in charge and the personal information database etc. that they handle, and have introduced mechanisms to protect information systems that handle personal data from unauthorized external access or malware.

Awareness of Overseas Environments

For the handling of personal data in a foreign country, we devise measures to ensure secure management by regularly collecting and remaining aware of information surrounding the personal information protection systems of the country concerned.


6.Monitoring of contractors

In the case where the Company outsources the processing of personal data to an external party, it will be contractually obligated not to divulge or provide it to third parties, and the proper management will be performed.


7.Disclosure, amendment, termination of use, and deletion of personal data

The Company recognizes that the individual has the right to request the disclosure, amendment, termination of use, deletion, etc. of their personal data, and will respond to any such request without delay. 8.Enactment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of Personal Information Protection Program

In order to execute this Policy, the Company will enact a Personal Information Protection Program (including this Policy, personal information protection rules and related rules/regulations), and disseminate this to the Company’s employees and other interested parties, implement, maintain and continuously improve it.

9.Handling of specific personal information

The Company observes the “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures” and the “Guidelines Concerning Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information (Business Edition)” and handle the specific personal information properly.
